💘 Behind the Story: The Handcuffed/Bound Romance Trope
Let’s talk romance tropes! One of the most intriguing to me is the handcuffed/bound romance trope. There’s something so compelling about two characters being physically bound together, forced to navigate their feelings and obstacles as one. A great example is I Do Hate You by Sienne Blake. It’s a steamy, tension-filled read that I highly recommend. Check it out here!
But in Golden Melodies, I put my own spin on this trope. Instead of handcuffs, it’s a mysterious, magical force that binds my two main characters together. It’s fate, but with a twist—a paranormal twist, to be exact! And, this binding? It’s not just about our leading couple; there’s much more at stake. Intrigued?
